Zain Dada is a writer & cultural producer based in London. In 2017, Zain co-founded Khidr Collective, an annual zine platforming the work of British Muslim artists. Zain was part of Soho Theatre’s Writer’s Lab & Royal Court’s Playwriting courses and he is currently developing his first play, Blue Mist. Zain is a Churchill Fellow & his published on community arts organisations & sustainability was published in 2020. In 2020, Zain & Kumail Rizvi co-founded Khidr Comix Lab, a space for storytellers interested in the comix medium & visual culture.
Kumail is a British Pakistani artist, illustrator and MA Architecture graduate at the Royal College of Art. He created the comic Kahlil, the story of what happens when Superman crash lands in Karachi, Not Kansas. It’s been featured on Buzzfeed, BBC, and named one of the top 20 comics of 2016 by Newsarama. Kumail is working on a forthcoming graphic novel entitled DOC.
